Grapicgraphic designer / marketeer

As a graphic designer / marketeer at HilverdaFlorist, you play a crucial role in realizing our mission: “Excelling together for a blooming future.” Your focus will be on designing our corporate identity, branding, promotional materials, and trade show stands.

You will ensure our corporate identity is consistently applied in catalogs, brochures, videos, our website, and various product concepts. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of various communication tools and marketing-related actions and concepts. You will also support the organization of internal and external events and other marketing activities. Depending on your experience and interest, you may also oversee product photography, print processes, and other productions.

Together with a compact team, you will form the Marketing & Communication department, which closely collaborates and is responsible for all marketing and communication activities of HilverdaFlorist in the Netherlands and its foreign subsidiaries. • An attractive salary of € 3,000 – € 4,500, depending on your knowledge and experience.
• A position for 24 to 40 hours per week.

HilverdaFlorist focuses on the breeding, propagation, and development of an extensive range of cut flowers, pot plants, and garden plants. This is done with a strong drive and focus on innovation. HilverdaFlorist is the supplier of high-quality young plant material, suitable for any climate and cultivation need. Our range consists of starting material in seeds, cuttings, and tissue culture.

A design is more than just a pretty picture to you. You bring text and image together into a complete story. Your creative mind surprises us and stimulates us to innovate further. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for graphic design. Given the compactness of our department, you are hands-on and like to roll up your sleeves. You enjoy working with a tight schedule and are flexible to take on ad hoc activities when needed. You get excited about developing and launching innovative product concepts and branding and co-organizing events and trade show participation.

• Completed HBO education in graphic design;
• At least 3 years of work experience as a graphic designer;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• You are creative and full of ideas that you easily translate into concepts and designs;
• You are familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator;
• Knowledge of a video editing program such as Adobe After Effects is a plus;
• You take initiative, are communicative, independent, a team player, flexible, and love to get things done.
