What will you do?
As a Marketing & Communication Specialist at HilverdaFlorist, you’ll play a key role in realizing our mission: “Excel together for a flourishing future.”
You are an expert in creating engaging content that informs and inspires our target audiences. You know exactly which tools and channels to use to convey our message effectively. In this versatile role, you’ll coordinate product launches, run online campaigns, and develop various marketing materials. You’ll also play an active role in organising events and trade show participation.

What we expect from you
You’re a specialist in writing (online) content, press releases, and newsletters. As part of a small team, you’re hands-on and not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You’re involved in planning, coordinating, and executing – both independently and together with your team and external partners.
You enjoy working with tight deadlines but remain flexible to handle last-minute tasks. You’re enthusiastic about online communication (website and social media) and skilled in creating brochures, mailings, and other promotional materials. You get excited about launching innovative product concepts, branding, and organising events and trade show participation.
You also bring:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (experience in the ornamental horticulture sector is a plus)
• A completed Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Commercial Economics
• Fluent in Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Experience with project-based work
• Knowledge of and interest in the latest (online) marketing trends
• A proactive attitude, strong communication skills, independence, team spirit, flexibility, and a hands-on mentality
