What will you be doing?

As an Expedition Employee at HilverdaFlorist, you will work with your colleagues to ensure that our orders are properly prepared for shipping.

Your tasks will include:

  • Carefully packaging and preparing orders for shipment;
  • Identifying discrepancies and checking for quality and completeness;
  • Administrative handling of shipments;
  • Contributing to a tidy and organized workplace;
  • Occasionally assisting in the nursery.

What we expect from you

You are someone who enjoys getting things done and working hard. You are independent and work well in a team. You are also flexible and don't mind working extra hours during peak seasons. Furthermore, you are willing to help your colleagues and like to think along about how to improve the work process continuously.

In addition, you have:

  • MBO level 2 working and thinking ability;
  • A certificate for the Air Freight Employee A course. If you haven’t completed this course yet, we will provide it for you;
  • Proficiency in Dutch (spoken and written) and English (spoken);
  • Preferably experience as an expedition/logistics employee;
  • Preferably experience with an ERP system;
  • A valid forklift certificate. If you don’t have one yet, we’ll provide training to obtain it.

 To perform this role, you must obtain a valid VGB (Certificate of No Objection) for civil aviation. We will apply for this certificate for you.
