With the appointment of Martin Beers as Director of Research & Development and Gijs Hofhuis as Commercial Director, the management board of HilverdaFlorist is now complete. The board now consists of five members, bringing together broad expertise across the organisation. Led by Managing Director Michiel F. van Ginkel, the management team further comprises Marc Rost as Finance Director and Jan van Schijndel, responsible for Operations and Human Resources.

HilverdaFlorist is an internationally operating breeding company with a strong and distinctive assortment. The company focuses on the breeding and propagation of crops such as Gerbera, Alstroemeria, Limonium, Helleborus, Salvia, Gypsophila, Echinacea and Dianthus (carnations). In doing so, HilverdaFlorist purposefully builds high-quality genetics and plant material for the global market. In addition, the company develops young plants for the cut flower and horticultural sectors, both from seed and through tissue culture. These are supplied worldwide, with production locations in the Netherlands, Kenya, Colombia and India.
